Plumptre gets heroic welcome at Al-Ittihad

Al-Ittihad new signing Ashleigh Plumptre was accorded a warm welcome by her teammates as she linked up with them for the first time on Friday night.

The Nigeria international joined the Tigers on a free transfer this week.

Plumptre left Leicester City at the end of last season following the expiration of her contract.

Al-Ittihad players formed a guard of honour for their new teammate she step on to the pitch.
