Super Falcons striker Asisat Oshoala is undaunted by the challenge posed by their group opponents at the Olympic Games.

Despite being drawn against powerhouses Brazil, Japan, and Spain, Oshoala exudes confidence in her team's abilities to withstand the test.

Nigeria is making a return to the Olympics after a 16-year absence, but the Bay Arena striker believes the nine-time African champions can make a podium finish.

“I have a lot of confidence in this team. We have many young players and we can make things difficult for our opponents.

“We don’t just think about getting out of the group, I think we can actually walk away with a medal.”
