Super Falcons forward Rasheedat Ajibade has revealed how she can help the team counter their tough opponents in the Olympics.
Nigeria faces Brazil in their Olympic Game opener on Thursday, July 25, at the Matmut Atlantique Stadium in Bordeaux.
The nine-time African champions face a daunting prospect against the South American giants, who have emerged victorious in their last two meetings and are tipped as huge favorites.
Despite being tagged as underdogs, Ajibade is confident that her experience playing against top European players can aid Randy Waldrum's side against Brazil and Spain.
"Playing in professional leagues, we encounter many players from different countries, including Brazil," Ajibade told 54footballx.
"I can provide the team with insights on how specific players operate, especially those I have played with or against in Spain and Brazil. We can pool our knowledge to help the team succeed in the Olympics."
