Galatasaray talisman Victor Osimhen stormed Lagos in a private jet on Tuesday, September 22, after withdrawing from the Super Eagles squad for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

After touching down in Lagos, the 27-year-old drove off in a red Ferrari 296 GTB reportedly valued at roughly ₦800 million.

Osimhen is still recuperating from the muscle strain he suffered during Galatasaray's 3-2 win over Istanbul Başakşehir on September 4.

Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle swiftly called on Coventry City striker Taiwo Awoniyi to replace the former African Footballer of the Year in his 24-man squad.

Despite missing out on international duty, Osimhen still decided to come down to Nigeria from his base in Turkey.

In a video that has gone viral, the former Napoli striker was seen arriving alongside Besiktas forward Junior Olaitan at the airport before hopping into his sleek red Ferrari ride.

Osimhen is well known for his love of luxury cars. Among the cars reportedly in his garage are a Lamborghini Urus, a Tesla Cybertruck, a Lamborghini Revuelto, and a Rolls-Royce Cullinan.

He is expected to return to full fitness after the three weeks of international break and will be in action for Galatasaray in some crucial fixtures in the weeks ahead.
