Osimhen sent off for violent conduct in Napoli’s opening match

Super Eagles and Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen got his marching orders in Napoli's opening game of the 2021-2022 Italian Serie A.

Osimhen who had a successful pre-season was shown the red card twenty-three minutes into the match.

The 22-years-old was shown a straight red card by centre referee, Gianluca Aureliano for violent conduct.

The Luciano Spalleti team played with ten men for the rest of the match, with late goals from Lorenzo Insigne and Eljif Elmas secured the vital win at Diego Armando Maradona Stadium in Naples, Brila.net said

Meanwhile, Nigeria full-back, Tyronne Ebuehi started at the opposite end of the pitch for Venezia.
