Former Super Eagles star Austin Jay-Jay Okocha has named himself the best dribbler ahead of all the great dribblers in the modern game.

The 51-year-old is widely considered by international pundits as the best Nigerian footballer ever, and one of the best African players of all time.

Okocha was known for his clever trickery with the ball, technique, creativity, flair, close control, and smooth dribbling skills, as well as his turn of pace and his use of feints, particularly his special stepovers.

The former Super Eagles captain featured for top European clubs like Frankfurt, Fenerbahçe, Paris Saint-Germain, and Bolton Wanderers, where his brilliant skill gained traction.

In a new video that has gone viral on social media, Okocha was asked to stay silent until he hears the name of a player who is a better dribbler than him.

However, the former attacking midfielder never responded to names such as Messi, Neymar, Vinicius Junior, Victor Osimhen, Cristiano Ronaldo, Phil Foden, Ademola Lookman, Florian Wirtz, Jadon Sancho, Jamal Musiala, Bernardo Silva, and Kylian Mbappe.

After going through the list of current great dribblers, Okocha noted that he is officially the best dribbler. “Of course, that was my strength,” he responded.
