2022 Commonwealth Silver medalist Elizabeth Oshoba and Oluwatosin Kejawa are set for their ring returns on September 30 at Meca Regent Circus, Swindon in Wiltshire, UK for the final eliminator bouts for Commonwealth titles.

Nigerian-born Oshoba (4-0-0-3KOs) will face Italian Nadia Flalhi (5-3-0-1KOs) in a six-round featherweight clash while Kejawa will battle British Darryl Sharp in a super-middleweight bout.

Oshoba and Kejawa both told Sunday PUNCH of their desires to keep winning and get the Commonwealth titles.

In March, Oshoba defeated Kirsty Hill by points 58-56 to qualify for this final round of the eliminator bouts while Kejawa also won his fight on points, triumphing over Ukrainian Serhii Ksendzov 60-54, after six rounds rounds of their super-middleweight clash.

Speaking to Sunday PUNCH, Oshoba said, “I feel so great that I was able to win the fight and qualified for the Commonwealth eliminator and I thank God for giving me the victory.

“I really prepared for the fight and gave all it took while in the training camp.”

The 23-year-old is now eager for the title fights which she will qualify for with a win over Flalhi saying, “I am looking forward to fight for the titles and I want to keep winning and improve my record to get the title and make everyone proud.”

On his part, Kejawa vowed to keep winning.

“I feel good about the win, I prepared very well for the fight because I am aware that my opponent is a very tough guy.

“Now, the plan is to keep winning and get the title at the Commonwealth fights, I know it will be difficult but I will keep training and hope on God,” Kejawa told Sunday PUNCH.

Oshoba and Kejawa both fight under Prosperity Sports Managements in the United Kingdom.
