Super Eagles midfielder Raphael Onyedika has won his first Belgian Cup after helping Club Brugge defeat Anderlecht in the final on Sunday, May 4.
Club Brugge clinched their 12th Belgian Cup title after beating their arch-rivals 2-1 at the King Baudouin Stadium in Brussels.
Belgian international Romeo Vermant scored both goals for Nicky Hayen’s side before Anderlecht netted a consolation in stoppage time.
Onyedika played a key role in the match, featuring for 74 minutes before being substituted for Hugo Vetlesen.
The 24-year-old received a booking in the 24th minute of the game.
Club Brugge are aiming for a domestic double, as they currently sit in second place in the Belgian Jupiler League, just one point behind leaders Union Saint-Gilloise.
