Onazi will not join Red Star Belgrade - Agent

Ayo Makinwa, the agent for Ogenyi Onazi has stated that the midfielder will not join Serbian side Red Star Belgrade's transfer window.

Onazi continues to be linked with clubs from Italy, Spain, France and Germany.

“They (Red Star Belgrade) showed interest but I don’t think it will happen,” Makinwa told Nigerian news portal, the Punch.

“There are other offers, but we are waiting to see which team will match our expectations.”

27-year-old Onazi quit his former team, Denizlispor, last month.

The midfielder, who made nine appearances for the Turkish side before his departure, told The Punch that he was owed three months salaries and a backlog of match bonuses.
