Nigerian midfielder Omoh Michael has signed a one-year deal with former Israeli champions, Hapoel Kfar Saba, The Punch reports.

Saba, who play in the Israeli topflight, have an option to extend the deal of the talented midfielder, depending on his performances in the 2020/21 season.

The 28-year-old joins Saba from Romanian club, CSM Politehnica Iasi, with whom he scored four goals in 21 games last season.

“Saba are a decent club and I heard a bit about them, then they showed great interest from the club and coaches. And it’s another step to my career,” Omoh told The Punch.

He joins another Nigerian, a defender, Atanda Sodiq, at the club.

Omoh previously featured for Dalkurd FF Ostersunds, Orebro and Mjallby, all in Sweden.

He is expected to make his league debut for the club against giants Hapoel Tel Aviv in the Israeli topflight on September 28.
