Some Nigerians have slammed the new Super Eagles coach, Jose Peseiro for commending the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.

The Portuguese gaffer in a recent statement rated the Uyo stadium as a first-class modern facility.

“This is a good stadium, feels like in Europe, modern facilities and world-class, the Portuguese said as quoted by naija sports.

“I came here to watch a match and inspect the stadium. It is nice and in very good condition.”

The comment didn't go down well with some Nigerians who have lashed out at the former Sporting Lisbon manager saying his comment is politically motivated.
