The Hull City centre-back has scored his first goal for the Super Eagles at the ongoing 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) against Tanzania.

The defender, who partnered Calvin Bassey in the back line, netted only his second goal in Super Eagles colours.

His 36th-minute strike came after strikers Akor Adams and Victor Osimhen missed clear chances to give the team the lead.

Still in the first half, the Super Eagles will be hoping to see out the game against the Taifa Stars.
