Nigerians across the diaspora have taken the #EndSARS protest baton after protests erupted in several cities across the globe following the Lekki tollgate shooting.

Nigerians in Naples have joined the #endsars protest, which has been the dominating issue in Nigeria over the last two weeks.

In the last 14 days, Nigerians have been on the streets in different major cities across the country, calling for an end to police brutality, Soccernet.ng said.

The movement has garnered a lot of support worldwide with several celebrities lending their voices. The protest is not only taking place in Nigeria but also in the UK, Finland, USA, France, Austria and Germany.

Although President Buhari warned Nigerians in the country to desist from carrying out further protests, it has not stopped those in the diaspora.

According to Soocernet.ng, Nigerian citizens living in Naples were the latest join the movement as they were seen calling for Buhari’s resignation.

Naples is the home of Napoli where Super Eagles striker currently plays his football. The 21-year-old has also lent his voice to the movement after he displayed an #endsars shirt following his first Serie A goal last weekend.
