Napoli fans chant Osimhen's name after goal against Atalanta

A video of Napoli fans based in New York City chanting Osimhen's name during Napoli's clash against Atalanta in the Serie A has emerged on social media.

In the said video, fans of the Serie A leaders were gathered at a bar to support Luciano Spalletti's side as they faced an impressive Atalanta side tutored by Gian Piero Gasperini.

The fans were heard chanting Osimhen's name following his 23rd-minute equalizer after his Super Eagles teammate Ademola Lookman had put the home side ahead four minutes earlier.

Napoli midfielder Eljif Elmas scored what proved to be the winner in the 35th minute as Napoli recorded an astonishing nine wins in a row to extend their lead at the top of Serie A to six points.

The 23-year-old has now scored in his last five consecutive Serie A matches since returning from his 5-week-long injury.

Osimhen has now managed 8 goals in his last five matches for Napoli in all competitions.
