The Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) is set to battle the English Football Association and the Federation of Uganda Football Associations for the services of talented young Arsenal goalie, Ovie Ejeheri, Sky Sports has said.

The 17-year-old who was born in Greenwich, England to Nigerian and Ugandan parents currently plays for the U-18 side.

The NFF will hope to convince Ejeheri to lace his boot for the Super Eagles after losing out on the services of another Arsenal player, Bukayo Saka whose has Nigerian parents and grew up in Arsenal ranks.

Reports suggest the NFF and Ugandan FA are also monitoring Ejeheri's development at Arsenal.

While Saka chose England, Alex Iwobi, who also has a similar story, decided to play for the three-time African champions, reports Soccernet.ng.
