Paris FC winger Moses Simon is set to hit a remarkable milestone for Nigeria ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Madagascar on Friday, September 25.

The former Nantes forward will join the exclusive 100-cap club should he feature against the Indian Ocean islanders at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.

Simon will become only the fifth Nigerian player to hit this remarkable milestone after the likes of Joseph Yobo (101), Vincent Enyeama (101), Ahmed Musa (111) and his current teammate Alex Iwobi (100).

In the same vein, Iwobi is also expected to equal Joseph Yobo and Vincent Enyeama’s record of appearances for the Super Eagles.

According to reports, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) will honour Simon after he reaches a century of caps for the Super Eagles.

The 31-year-old made his debut for Nigeria in a friendly encounter against Uganda in March 2015.

Simon has managed 11 goals in his 99 appearances for Nigeria.
