Fulham midfielder Alex Iwobi has described the Moroccan national team as good and scary ahead of the crucial semi-final clash with Nigeria.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria will come up against the Atlas Lions of Morocco at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat on Wednesday, January 14.
The winner will face either Egypt or Senegal in the final on Sunday, January 17.
The Super Eagles dispatched Algeria 2-0 in the quarterfinal in what was a dominant display from Eric Chelle's side.
Morocco, on the other hand, also edged Cameroon 2-0 in the last eight.
Iwobi, who watched Morocco's game against Cameroon, described the hosts as a tough opponent.
The former Arsenal man, however, expressed confidence in the Super Eagles’ ability to beat the hosts.
“The night before the game [against Algeria], I just watched Morocco beat Cameroon,” Iwobi said on Alexander Yaa Digg’s YouTube channel.
“Morocco looks good, looks scary. But we still hope to face them… We have to believe, so we can achieve. Our team is good.”
