Money on the table: Villarreal receive N18 billion offer for exciting Super Eagles winger

Aston Villa have taken a major step towards securing the signature of Super Eagles attacker Samuel Chukwueze if reports from the English media are anything to go by.

Chukwueze has been a subject of interest from Aston Villa since the Villans appointed former Arsenal boss Unai Emery as the manager.

Unai Emery and Chukwueze worked together at Villarreal before the tactician returned to the Premier League a few weeks ago.

And the two could be reunited at Villa Park, with Aston Villa keen to back Emery up with funds to make meaningful additions to the squad in January.

And according to Football Insider (via TMW), Aston Villa have tabled an offer of 40 million euros (approximately N18.5 billion) to Villarreal for Chukwueze.
