Mali beat Nigeria 2-0 to end close to 50 years dominance

Mali soared higher in the all eagles affair on Tuesday night after recording a memorable 2-0 victory over Nigeria at the Stade de Grande in Marrakech.

Goals from youngsters El Bilal Touré and Kamory Doumbia on both halves sealed what was a remarkable victory for the Malians.

The 2023 AFCON finalists couldn't build on their victory against Ghana four days ago as the Eagles Mali stunned the Super Eagles.

Despite enjoying a good spell of possession in the second half, the Super Eagles failed to penetrate the Malian defense.

The Eagles went on to grab their second goal on the night to beat Nigeria for the first time since 1975.
