Super Eagles and Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman hit a brace as Atalanta sent Salernitana to the cleaners in the Serie A on Sunday, January 15.

Gian Piero Gasperini's side were the big winner in the Serie A over the weekend as Atalanta hammered Salernitana 8-2 at the Gewiss Stadium.

Lookman scored in both halves and assisted substitute Ederson as the
I Nerazzurri humbled the away side in scintillating fashion.

The ex-Leicester City winger took his goal tally to 9 goals, only his Super Eagles teammate Victor Osimhen has managed more (12).

Jeremy Boga, Nadir Zortea, Ederson, Giorgio Scalvini, Teun Koopmeiners and Rasmus Hojlund grabbed the remaining goals for Atalanta as Atalanta set a new club record by scoring 5 goals in the opening 45 minutes for the first time in history.

Lookman has now managed 9 goals plus 3 assists in his debut Serie A season for Atalanta.
