Bayer Leverkusen forward Nathan Tella has urged Liverpool fans to expect instant impact from his former teammates: Florian Wirtz and Jeremie Frimpong.
Wirtz and Frimpong joined the Premier League champions from Leverkusen this summer.
Wirtz joined the Reds for a record fee of £116 million after registering 16 goals and 15 assists in 45 competitive appearances for Xabi Alonso's side.
Liverpool beat off competition from Bayern Munich and Manchester City for the signature of the German international.
Frimpong also joined Liverpool in a deal worth £35 million as a replacement for Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Tella believes the duo has joined one of the best teams in the world and will hit the ground running at Anfield.
“They’re now playing in one of the best teams in the world,” the Super Eagles forward said.
“I don’t need to talk much about their abilities. Everyone has seen how good they are.
“Now it’s time for England to get to know them even better. I’m confident they can get even better, even if that seems almost impossible. We’ll see great games from them.”
