Nigerian and Molde FK striker, Leke James has seen his ratings in the Norwegian top league have dropped after he was 33rd for the past season as against ninth for the previous campaign by Eurosports, Today.ng reports.

According to the ranking by Eurosports, the previous season was a disappointing one for the striker.

According to Today.ng, the 26-year-old striker scored fewer goals than the previous season and his club also lost their league crown to Bodo/Glimt in spectacular fashion.

“There were huge expectations for Leke before the season after a great pre-season. But a lot of issues lowered these expectations that he has had a disappointing season,” Eurosports remarked.

“But it says a lot about his quality that despite a lot of minor injuries and a mediocre campaign, he still scored 13 goals in 16 starts.”

Norway has been a popular destination for many Nigerian players in recent times.
