Chelsea captain, Recce James will miss the clash against Leicester City.

This was confirmed by Enzo Maresca in a chat with the media on Thursday, November 21. Maresca said the defender picked up “a small injury”.

He said: “Unfortunately Reece felt something small and we don’t want to take a risk for this game.

“Hopefully it’s not something long. We think it’s a short-term one, yes.”

Maresca also said there is a chance he could play Joao Felix and Cole Palmer together in future.

“I see Cole Palmer and João Félix playing together as one of the targets for the future.

“João is doing fantastic with us since day one, the only problem is to find the balance,” he added.
