Spanish La Liga outfit Valencia have decided not to sign Nigerian international Sadiq Umar on a permanent deal.
The lanky striker spent the second half of the 2024/2025 season with Los Che after joining the club on loan from Real Sociedad in January.
The 28-year-old had a decent campaign with Valencia, scoring five goals in 16 La Liga appearances.
According to Spanish outlet Estadio Deportivo, Valencia will not pursue the permanent signing of the Nigerian international due to the high financial demands from Real Sociedad.
The former UD Almería forward has been shortlisted among the players who will leave the Mestalla this summer.
Valencia have reportedly opened talks with FC Porto over a possible return of Iván Jaime, while ruling out any further talks over a permanent move for Sadiq.
