Fifteen-time European champions Real Madrid are set to announce two signings for new manager Xabi Alonso in the coming days.
Alonso recently returned to the Santiago Bernabéu, replacing Carlo Ancelotti as Los Blancos' new manager.
According to Madrid Zone via COPE, the Spanish giants are planning to announce the signings of two full-backs: Trent Alexander-Arnold and Álvaro Carreras.
Alexander-Arnold will be joining Real Madrid as a free agent from Premier League champions Liverpool.
Carreras is also expected to move to the Bernabéu from Portuguese giants Benfica.
Real Madrid are keen to bolster their squad ahead of next season after losing three domestic trophies to arch-rivals Barcelona.
Madrid were also eliminated by Arsenal in the quarterfinals of the UEFA Champions League.
