The Super Eagles of Nigeria are taking on the Panthers of Gabon in a mammoth World Cup qualifying playoff in Rabat, Morocco.

The winner of this decisive tie will secure a place in the final CAF playoff, where a spot in the intercontinental playoff will be up for grabs.

The Super Eagles booked their place in the playoffs after a remarkable 4–0 victory over Benin Republic in their final group-stage qualifier at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.

The resounding win ensured that Nigeria finished second behind South Africa in Group C.

Gabon, on the other hand, also finished behind African champions Ivory Coast in Group F to secure their playoff spot.

The winner of this tie will face either Cameroon or the Democratic Republic of Congo in the final playoff on Sunday, November 16.
