Mohammed Kudus' bicycle kick against Brentford has been nominated for the November Goal of the Month in the English Premier League.

The 23-year-old midfielder scored a screamer as West Ham United suffered defeat at the GTech Community Stadium in London last month.

The in-form Ghanaian will face competition from seven others, including Chelsea's Raheem Sterling and Manchester United's Alejandro Garnacho.

Garnacho scored a spectacular acrobatic overhead goal against Everton, while Sterling netted a fine free kick in Chelsea's 4-1 defeat to Newcastle United, as reported by the Premier League.

Cameron Acher's strike for Sheffield United against Wolves and Pablo Sarabia's goal against Tottenham Hotspur were also nominated alongside Michael Olise's consolation for Crystal Palace against Luton Town.

Also in the running for the award is Arsenal's Oleksandr Zinchenko, who scored a belter against Burnley.

Meanwhile, Kudus played an inspiring role over the weekend as the Hammers came from a goal down to beat Burnley.

"Until the last whistle goes, we’ll keep fighting until the end and Saturday you could see an example of that," he told West Ham TV.

"I just keep my focus throughout the whole game. It’s easy to give up in games like this, especially when they have more of the ball, and we are defending a lot, but we still believed and still kept doing what we do best and luckily we got the win."
