Abductors of Ahmed Sani Toro, former Secretary of Nigeria Football Association (NFA) are demanding a hefty sum of 150 million Naira as a ransom for his release.
The ex-NFA General Secretary was reportedly kidnapped together with former Golden Eaglets assistant coach, Garba lliya on Saturday, June 18, on the Abuja-Jos road.
According to reports, the two victims were returning from the wedding ceremony of the son of ex-NFF President, Alhaji Aminu Maigari.
A source close to Mr. Toro's family claims that the abductors have contacted the family to demand a sum of N150m.
“The kidnappers have reached out to the family of the former Secretary-General of the NFA, they are demanding a ransom of N150 million,” the source said.
