Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi has been named in the Premier League Team of the Week following his impressive performance for Fulham last weekend.

The 29-year-old played an instrumental role in guiding Marco Silva’s side to a remarkable 3-1 victory over Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.

Iwobi found the back of the net and also provided an assist, which earned him a spot in WhoScored’s Team of the Week.

The Nigerian delivered a superb cross from a corner, which was nodded home by Raúl Jiménez for the opener.

He later scored the final goal of the game in the 85th minute to wrap up all three points for Marco Silva’s side.

The strike was Iwobi’s third of the season for Fulham.
