Super Eagles and Napoli forward, Victor James Osimhen, has been linked with Premier League Champions, Liverpool, in a swap-deal option involving Darwin Núñez.
The Uruguayan moved to Anfield from Benfica in 2022 for a fee of €85m, but never really got going in the Red colours of Liverpool, scoring 25 goals and providing 16 assists in 95 English Premier League games.
Arne Slot's side are in the transfer market for a striker this summer, and will only splash the cash if Núñez exits the club.
Bruno Satin, who works with B&S partners, a football agency, confirmed Liverpool's interest in Victor Osimhen, but mentioned no one is sure if the Super Eagles striker wants to make the switch to Merseyside.
“Osimhen is an unpredictable guy, I don’t know where he goes in the future,” the Italian agent said in an interview with Kiss Kiss Napoli.
“Nunez? He's strong, physically, is an animal, but he is also fast. In Serie A, one like him makes a difference. I know that in Liverpool, he's no longer doing well, and his wife wants to leave, too.
“I saw him in the national team in November, he works a lot for the team, he is a top player, but for the Napoli move to happen, he has to understand how to coexist with Lukaku, but the commitments will be many and who is better will play,” Satin concluded.
Following Osimhen's exploits during his Galatasaray loan spell, several clubs are keen on making a move for him, but Napoli have shunned every swap-deal offer and will not settle for anything other than his €75m release clause.
