Transfer market expert, Fabrizio Romano has confirmed Taiwo Awoniyi's reported move to Premier League new boys, Nottingham Forest.
According to the highly regarded transfer market guru, the £17m release clause for the 24-year-old Nigerian international has been triggered by the Premier League newcomers and Liverpool will receive 10% of the transfer.
Awoniyi joined Union Berlin on a permanent deal last summer from the Reds and has since shone, bagging 20 goals across all competitions last term.
Fabrizio Romano confirmed the move in a tweet on Friday, June 24.
Meanwhile, the club is yet to officially announce the Super Eagles star as their new acquisition ahead of the incoming season.
