Kelechi Iheanacho was on target for Leicester City against Brighton at the Amex on Sunday.

The Nigeria international was starting his first game of the season for the Foxes and he scored the first goal of the game inside the opening minute.

It was a well-worked goal for Leicester with Patson Daka and Iheanacho applying the finishing touch.

Iheanacho has now been directly involved in 20 goals in his last 25 starts in the Premier League for Leicester City.

The goal however was not enough as the Foxes eventually lost the game 5-2 to the hosts.

Meanwhile his compatriot Wilfred Ndidi also featured for Leicester City and gave away a penalty scored by Mac Allister for Brighton’s fourth goal of the game.

The Foxes have now lost their last five Premier League games – it is their worst losing run since February 2017 which triggered the departure of then manager Claudio Ranieri.
