Leicester City Kasper Schmeichel hinted Kelechi Iheanacho will be vital for the club as they look to win the FA Cup and finished in the top four.

Iheanacho has scored ten goals in the last eight game for the Foxes, including the winner that qualified them for the FA Cup for the first time in 52 years.

In his recent interview with Leicester City TV, the Danish number one said he’s delighted to see Kelechi Iheanacho hard work in training coming to fruition.

“Incredible form, incredible guy, incredible player. Kelly (Kelechi Iheanacho) has been working so hard ever since he joined the Club.

"He will be vital for us in the crucial part of the season. We’re very, very focused and very determined to not live in the future. We’re living in the now, focusing on now, and the next challenge is the Premier League. We have to take that later on.

“He just needed that bit of luck to give him the confidence. He’s horrible to play against sometimes, so I’m just buzzing for him that it’s coming to fruition in games,” he said.

Iheanacho will be hoping to add to his goal tally when the Brendan Rodgers side take on West Bromwich Albion later this evening.
