Super Eagles forward Kelechi Iheanacho continued his incredible run of good form when scored the winner for Leicester City in their English FA Cup semifinal clash against Southampton.

Iheanacho hit the target in the 55th minutes to lead the Foxes to a 1-0 win over Southampton on Sunday.

The forward connected for Vardy’s cross from the left to fire the ball into the back of the net.

The goal increased his tally for the season to 15 in all competitions, including 10 goals in the last 8 matches for the Foxes.

The Nigerian forward has also scored the most FA Cup goals since the start of the 2015-16 competition, 2 more than Sergio Aguero, Heung-Min Son, Padraig Amond who are tied on 12 goals, with Harry Kane slightly behind with 11.

Iheanacho also became the first Nigerian player to score 15 goals in a season in all competitions for a Premier League club since 2015 Odion Ighalo scored 17 in 2015/16 for Watford.
