'Ignore Oshoala’s shirtless stunt'- Shehu Sani reveals what Nigerians should focus on after Falcons victory

Former Kaduna lawmaker, Shehu Sani has asked Nigerians not to drag Nigerian international striker, Asisat Oshoala.

Sani in a post shared on his Twitter page, on Friday, July 28, urged Nigerians to appreciate the Super Falcons, focus on their performance and not judge her faith or morality.

"Don’t talk too much about Asisat Shirtless stunt. I only looked at it once. Just appreciate her great performance and that of other Falcons."

The Barcelona Femeni striker scored Nigeria's third goal as the Super Falcons beat tournament co-host Australia 3-2 on Thursday, July 27 to top Group B at the ongoing 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup.

Oshoala, who started the game from the bench scored a few minutes later after she was introduced into the game by Coach Randy Waldrum in the second half.

Uchenna Kanu and Osinachi Ohale grabbed the Falcons other two goals as Nigeria caused a major upset at the Brisbane Stadium in Melbourne.

The Falcons will take on Ireland in their last group match as they stand a great chance of finishing as group winners.
