Odion Jude Ighalo ended up on the losing side, despite scoring twice and assist another for Al Shabab FC in the Saudi Arabia premier league match against Al Ettifaq FC on Friday.

The former Manchester United striker put his side two goals up inside the opening 30 minutes, but a good reaction from Al Ettifaq FC turned the game on its head.

Ighalo gave Al Shabab the lead in the 11th minute before he completed his brace 10 minutes later.

Moroccan forward Walid Azaro half the deficit five minutes before halftime, before 29-year-old Souleymane Doukara restored the parity three minutes after the restart.

Al Ettifaq FC led for the first time in the game when Walid Azaro completed his brace on the 68th minutes, but the lead didn’t last long as Fabio Martins made 3-3 for Al Shabab FC with an assist from Ighalo.

Mohammed Al Kuwaykibi however scored the winner for the host in the 83rd minute to condemned Al Shabab FC to defeat.

The defeat leaves Al Shabab FC in the second position with 48 points from 27 matches.
