Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr will play 3-5-2 formation against Liberia in today's 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier, Complete Sports is reporting.

According to the report, Rohr will stick with his strike force of Victor Osimhen and Kelechi Iheanacho despite the return of Odion Ighalo to the team.

In the midfield, Wilfred Ndidi and Alex Iwobi will return to the starting XI after being ruled out from the double-header against Central African Republic.

The duo will be joined by Rangers star Joe Aribo.

Chidozie Awaziem, Leon Balogun, and William Troost-Ekong, will operate as center-backs while Ola Aina and Jamilu Collins will play as the full-backs.

Watford's new signing Maduka Okoye will keep his place in goal.

Captain Ahmed Musa and experienced striker Odion Ighalo will have to make do with places on the bench but are expected to be brought in at some stage of the stage.
