Zlatan Ibrahimovic found the back of the net twice and missed a sitter in AC Milan's 2-0 win over Bologan at the San Siro.

The Rossoneri got their campaign off to a winning start as the Swedish striker justified his contract extension with the Serie A giants.

The 38-year-old headed home his first from a Theo Hernandez's cross in the 35th minute to put his side in firm control of the game.

Five minutes after the restart, Ibrahimovic struck from a spot-kick after Samuel Castillejo was brought down in the box by Ricardo Orsolini.

Milan continued from where they left off last season as they extended their unbeaten run to 15 matches.

Stefano Pioli's side will be strong contenders for a spot in next season's Champions League after qualifying for the Europa League in last season's campaign.

"If I was 20-years-old, I'd have scored another two," said Ibrahimovic, who has 14 goals in 22 matches since returning for a second stint at Milan in January.

"I don't want people to talk about my age, I want to be treated the same as everyone else. It doesn't matter if I am 38, I want to be treated like someone aged 20 and do the same work."
