“I’m excited contact sports is back” - Minister Sunday Dare

The Minister of Youth and Sports, Sunday Dare has expressed his joy as contact sports across the country are set to resume.

Speaking after his visit to the Handball league venue situated at the Moshood Abiola Stadium Abuja, the Minister expressed satisfaction with the conduct and manner at which contact sports restarting has gone so far, according to him, sports is life.

“I think my first excitement was in Asaba on Friday where we had our first athletics championship, it was exciting to see athletes really get it on.”

“Coming back to Abuja to see what these athletes knows how to do best, it’s like being able to breathe again you know, sports is life, it means a lot to the people both the players and the match officials”

“Am excited that contact sports is back and also that, handball can have its competition ahead and i’m looking forward to the match between the Super eagles and Sierra Leone on Friday then you know really really sports has open up.” he said.
