Super Eagles striker Tolu Arokodare has expressed his support for Belgium national team ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The 25-year-old forward spent two seasons playing in the Belgian Pro League and says his time in the country left a lasting impression.
Arokodare previously featured for KRC Genk before completing a move to Wolverhampton Wanderers last summer.
The Nigerian striker admitted that his spell in Belgium has made him root for the Red Devils at the next World Cup.
“My years at Genk have given me a bit of Belgian blood, so I hope they’ll do well,” Arokodare told Het Nieuwsblad.
Belgium have been drawn in Group G alongside Egypt, Iran and New Zealand.
The Red Devils will begin their World Cup campaign against Egypt on June 15 in Seattle in the United States.
