How the Australian Boomers made easy work of D'tigers in pre Olympics game

After beating United States and Argentina, Nigeria’s D’tigers were outclassed by Australian team on Wednesday morning.

Australia made easy work of Nigerian side, thumping the Brown-led side with 108-69 in an Olympic exhibition game played in Las Vegas.

Australia paraded weak side with the likes of Patty Mills, Joe Ingles, Matthew Dellavedova and Aron Baynes, while Nigeria fielded almost the same team that hurt the world number one and number four.

Chris Goulding, 32, scored 21 points and was a perfect 7-of-7 from deep, while Matt Giddey added 14 points, four rebounds and three assists.

Australia had a 49-29 lead at the break. And it only got bigger after half-time, with any chance of a Nigerian second-half comeback immediately put to bed as Landale and Exum sunk back-to-back threes to extend Australia’s lead to 26 points.

The game ended 106-69 in the favor of the Australians wbo will play their final exhibition game in Las Vegas in a rematch against Team USA on Saturday.
