National Women’s Soccer League side Houston Dash has congratulated Super Falcons star Michelle Alozie following her nomination for the 2025 FIFPRO Women’s World XI.

The 28-year-old was among the 26 players who made the shortlist.

The NWSL side took to their social media handle to congratulate the Nigerian defender with a brief message.

“Congratulations to Michelle Alozie for being named to the @FIFPRO Women’s World XI shortlist,” the club wrote on their Facebook page.

Alozie starred during Nigeria’s triumph at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.

The full-back was named in the Team of the Tournament alongside teammates Rasheedat Ajibade and Esther Okoronkwo.
