Spain midfielder Rodri is reportedly set to join La Liga champions Barcelona from Manchester City.

After seeing their two initial bids for the Spanish captain rejected, the Catalan club finally made the breakthrough last weekend after Manchester City accepted their latest bid.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, both clubs have agreed on an initial €60m, with €6m in easy add-ons and €10m in difficult add-ons.

Rodri was left out of the squad during Manchester City's 3-0 loss to Arsenal in the FA Community Shield on Sunday, August 16.

The 30-year-old is set to travel to Barcelona for his medicals and will pen a four-year deal with the Spanish giants.

"Rodri has authorization to fly to Barcelona today, Monday, ahead of the move being completed," Romano wrote on X.

"Medical booked by Barcelona and Rodri will sign a four-year deal until June 2030 this week.

"Fee worth €60m fixed, €6m easy add-ons and €10m difficult add-ons."
