Ghana's independent presidential aspirants Nana Kwame Bediako has disclosed plans to venture into football business.

The entrepreneur who will be contesting in the country's next general elections in December in a recent interview revealed his ambition to acquire Premier League clubs, specifically targeting iconic teams like Manchester United or Chelsea.

Beyond his plans to acquire any of these two giants of English football, Bediako also disclosed plans to make significant investment in the African game.

Cheddar, as he is famously called, articulated his vision to transform the CAF Champions League to mirror the prestigious UEFA Champions League.

He further advocated the development of a robust domestic league across the continent to position African local leagues as a competitive force on the international stage.

"As I sit here, I hope to raise money to buy Chelsea at the blind side of the public or buy Manchester United and show the white man that the Black man is also powerful.

"I would like to invest and have an African Champions League just like what pertains in Europe," he stated.
