Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen will come up against his former manager Luciano Spalletti when Galatasaray take on Juventus in the UEFA Champions League round of 16 playoff tie.

The Turkish giants will host the Bianconeri in the first leg of the encounter at the RAMS Park on Tuesday night.

Osimhen has been in remarkable form in the UCL this season, netting six goals in six appearances for the Yellow and Reds.

Spalletti, who coach Osimhen at Napoli has emphasized the importance of devising a strategy to keep the 27-year-old at bay alongside his striking partner Mauro Icardi.

“They (Osimhen and Icardi) both have extraordinary talent. The solution is to keep them as far away from the ball as possible. Galatasaray’s quality will pose a challenge for us,” he said.

The Old Lady of Serie A will host Galatasaray for the second leg in Turin next week.
