Fulham, Milan in advanced €25m deal for Chukwueze

Samuel Chukwueze may soon be teaming with Nigerian compatriots at the Craven Cottage with Fulham and AC Milan reportedly in advanced talks over a €25 million deal for the winger after weeks of negotiations.

The Cottagers presently house Nigerian duo of striker Alex Iwobi and defender Charles Bassey but according to Calciomercato, the 26-year-old Chukwueze has been in talks with Fulham for weeks and the deal is now closer than ever to being completed.

Chukwueze has struggled to establish himself as a starter since joining AC Milan from Villarreal back in 2023, making 72 appearances, scoring eight goals, and providing six assists.

It’s understood that Fulham tried to sign the Nigeria international in January, but AC Milan refused to sanction a loan deal with an option to buy.

Fulham boss Marco Silva has grown frustrated with the club’s lack of transfer activity this summer, with their only incoming being that of back-up goalkeeper Benjamin Lecomte.
