Flamingos to identify World Cup opponents today

Nigeria's U-17 women's side, Flamingos will identify their opponents for the 2022 FIFA World Cup today, June 24, 2022.

The draw will take place at the FIFA headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland.

The Coach Bankole Olowookere-led side will be in pot 3, alongside the 2012 champions France, United States, and China.

Nigeria qualified alongside DR Congo, Egypt, and Ethiopia as African contingents.

The Flamingos sealed their qualification following a goalless draw against Ethiopia on June 5.

The 7th edition of the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup will be hosted by India.
