Falconets will get good results against Central African Republic - Danjuma

Coach Christopher Danjuma says he’s optimistic that Nigeria’s U20 girls will get a good result against the Central African Republic to increase their chances of qualifying for the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup in Costa Rica next year.

Nigeria will begin its quest to qualify for the Mundial with a first-round, first-leg encounter against the U20 girls of the Central African Republic in Douala Cameroon this Saturday.

A total of 23 players left the shore of the country for Cameroon on Thursday and trained at the Stade Japoma de Douala – the match venue.

Speaking ahead of the Christopher Danjuma said, they are in Cameroon to get a very good result.

“We are here to earn a good result that will make the second leg a bit easier for us. We will go all out for victory against our opponents who are also playing on away ground,” said Danjuma.

The first round, first leg clash will kick off at 3 pm Cameroon time, with the return leg in Nigeria on Friday, 8th October.
