EPL: Rio Ferdinand predicts where Lampard’s Chelsea will finish season -

Manchester United legend, Rio Ferdinand has predicted where Chelsea will finish in the Premier League table under manager, Frank Lampard this season.

Lampard’s men are currently in seventh position on the Premier League table, with 11 points from seven games but Ferdinand believes the Blues will finish in the top six this term.

Asked where he thinks Chelsea will finish this season on the Premier League table, Ferdinand told BT Sport: “Top six.

“Frank will be going for top four, that’s the way he is. He’s a person who wants to win and achieve and overachieve.

“But top six I think would have been the remit at the start of the season.”

Chelsea will take on Southampton in an away Premier League fixture on Sunday afternoon.

The West London club head to the game following a 2-1 victory over Lille in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday.
