Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has slammed the club over their transfer decisions in the summer.
The Red Devils' struggle for consistency continues following their 1-1 draw away at Leeds United on Sunday, January 4.
Brenden Aaronson broke the deadlock in the 62nd minute before Matheus Cunha equalised for the visitors three minutes later.
United have won just one of their last seven matches as pressure mounts on the Ruben Amorim.
Benjamin Sesko, who joined the club for £74 million in the summer, couldn't make any meaningful impact in the game.
The Slovenian international has not scored in his last 11 games for the club.
Manchester United was one of the clubs interested in Victor Osimhen before his £65 million move to Galatasaray.
Speaking in his post-match analysis, Ferdinand slammed his former club for not signing the Nigerian striker in the summer.
“I still think we should have signed Victor Osimhen. I don’t want to keep talking about it, but we really should have signed him because there were no doubts or questions about it.
“It’s just pure experience with him. We aren’t passing the ball to Sesko enough, and that’s a major issue. He’s still developing and I believe he needs to handle the ball more.”
